How to get more energy in CityVille? Sometimes you have plenty of coins, plenty of goods and even a little cash but you always run out of energy. So what on earth can you do about it? Is there any way around it? What are the best strategies? In this article, I will tell you all the ways that you can get more energy.

Check Your Inventory

Always have a quick look here first. It's amazing how many people forget that they have a few batteries lying around in here.

Visit Your Neighbors

This is probably the best way if you need some urgently and you did not have any in your inventory. Visit your neighbors and you will receive one point of energy immediately just for turning up. I suggest leaving immediately and visiting your next neighbor because you will not get any energy for doing tasks (though you do get coins and XP).

Wait

Every 5 minutes you will receive one piece of energy. My advice to you is to not wait for each 5 minutes and use it immediately but to go away and do something else and come back later. Otherwise it will drive you insane!

While you're waiting, ask your neighbors for energy. Really, what you should be doing is regularly sending energy gifts to your neighbors on a daily basis, when you first check into the game.

You can also buy energy with real money. I strongly advise against this. You could get addicted to the game if you keep paying money to the game creators, Zynga, in order to get money.

Time Your Leveling Up

Whenever you level up you will get your energy fully replenished. So make sure that you use it all up wisely before this happens. The worst thing is to advance a level and get experience points that take you to the next level. So I suggest using the energy up beforehand on things like building.
